Manchester independent living community on tap for $2M upgrade

A Manchester-based independent living community this week kicked off a new $2 million renovation initiative for capital upgrades in design and amenities.

White Oaks, which is owned by Holiday by Atria, said the upgrades are expected to be completed by early next year.

The upgrades, the facility said, includes a larger space with an expanded fitness room; a new pub area with a game room; a living room with a library; a revitalized atrium; enhanced dining spaces; a refreshed salon; and energy-efficient lighting, among others.

Holiday by Atria Chief Operating Officer Michael Mejia said in a statement that the company’s renovations are “designed to meet the demands of America’s aging population, as well as provide working environments to attract and retain talented employees. The renovation of Holiday by White Oaks is part of our ongoing commitment to put our residents in positions to live their best lives now.”
