Manchester firm wins $22M military contract

A Manchester manufacturing firm recently won a military contract worth more than $22 million, according to information from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).

PCX Aerosystems-Manchester LLC, located at 586 Hilliard St., won a $22 million contract for aerospace parts from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, which manages the country’s global defense supply chain. PCX Aerosystems-Manchester will deliver parts for the U.S. Army for five years, with an expected completion date of Sept. 15, 2029, according to the contract.

PCX Aerosystems-Manchester, formerly Timken Aerospace Drive Systems, was rebranded in 2022 after the company was acquired by Newington-based PCX Aerosystems. The company is owned by private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group L.P., and provides direct delivery to customers including Boeing, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Bell, Sikorsky and the federal government.

PCX Aerosystems-Manchester specializes in aerospace transmission assemblies, gearboxes and flight components and repair services.
