The buyer was Fort Knox Properties LLC, which is controlled by Apogee Group LLC, of Stamford. Apogee is controlled by Hessel Pole, also of Stamford.
The seller was Knox Place LLC, controlled by Elite Apartments LLC. That entity is tied to Steven Pappas, of Hartford real estate firm Chozick Realty, and Eric Chozick.
At the time of the sale, half of the units had been renovated with updated kitchens and bathrooms.
Chozick Realty said it represented both the buyer and seller in the transaction.
