Management shake-up at Hartford Hospital

A key Hartford Hospital exec will step down at the end of the month and another has asked to “transition” to another role in the hospital, the hospital said. Kevin Hannifan, executive vice president and COO, has resigned effective June 30, while John Biancamano, vice president of finance, has asked to take a different position. A search firm has already been hired to conduct a national search for candidates for the two positions, although no timetable has been set for its completion.
