Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has started a strategic planning approach to Connecticut’s transportation policies, program, and projects, called Transform CT.
The initiative is meant to improve economic growth and competitiveness, build sustainability, and provide a blueprint for the state’s transportation system.
The initiative will be run by the state Department of Transportation, who will work with businesses, elected officials, transportation advocacy groups, and the public at large to development the effort.
The first report will be released in February. Public meetings are scheduled for the fall, and the campaign launched a Web site, www.TransformCT.org.
