Virginia Smith Major has been appointed director of training at The Connection, a statewide nonprofit human services and community development agency.
Major comes to The Connection from the corporate world, where she worked as an organizational development consultant and executive coach. Major will focus on agency-wide learning and development at The Connection.
The Connection Inc. is a $42 million statewide nonprofit, headquartered in Middletown, providing services in the areas of community justice, behavioral health, supportive housing and women and children. It serves more than 6,000 individuals throughout Connecticut each month.
