Hartford-based JCJ Architecture is deepening its footprint in Boston.
JCJ announced it has acquired Group One Partners (G1), an architecture and interior design firm located in Boston.
Terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed, but JCJ said the deal will expand its business opportunities in New England and particularly Boston, where it already had an office.
G1 has a focus on hospitality design while JCJ has a more diverse industry focus.
JCJ is one of the largest architecture, planning and design firms in Greater Hartford, employing 27 local architects as of the second quarter of this year, according to Hartford Business Journal’s Book of Lists. The company occupies space in the Colt building, at 120 Huyshope Ave., where it moved in 2016.
It also has offices in New York City, Phoenix, San Diego, Tulsa and Las Vegas.
