Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP has opened a new office in Greenwich, expanding its presence in lower Fairfield County.
Connecticut law firm Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP has opened a new office in Greenwich, expanding its presence in lower Fairfield County.
The new office is located at 88 Field Point Road. The firm said the expansion is intended to better serve existing clients in the Greenwich market while supporting future business growth in the area.
Managing Partner Fatima Lahnin said the firm has worked with clients in Greenwich for years and sees the office as an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and become more involved in the local business community.
Senior Partner Bill Hennessey, who will lead the Greenwich office, said the firm has extensive experience representing Greenwich clients in land use and zoning matters. Partner Lisa Feinberg, who leads the firm's real estate and land use practice, said the volume of development work the firm handles in Greenwich supported opening a permanent office there.
Founded more than 125 years ago, Carmody has about 90 attorneys and provides legal services in areas including corporate law, real estate, litigation, labor and employment, environmental law, trusts and estates, intellectual property and immigration. In addition to Greenwich, the firm has offices in Stamford, New Haven, Waterbury, New London, Guilford, Southbury and Litchfield.
