With its $100 million acquisition of Partners Rx complete, Avon’s Magellan Health Services said it has reorganized and rebranded its pharmacy business as Magellan Rx Management.
The division, which integrates Partners, ICORE Healthcare (acquired in 2006) and the company’s Medicaid section, will be led by CEO Robert W. Field, former president and CEO of Partners.
The company completed its purchase of Partners in October.
Magellan Rx Management will serve health plans, insurers and government customers. The division offers claims processing, specialty pharmacy management and other services.
