Connecticut banker David H. MacKenzie is the new mortgage and consumer lending chief for Simsbury Bank and its parent, SBT Bancorp Inc.
MacKenzie, who is senior vice president, previously was senior vice president of residential and consumer lending at Patriot National Bank in Stamford.
His first day was last Tuesday. He replaces Michael Sheahan, who left the post in mid-July after elevating SBT to among the top three community bank mortgage lenders in Hartford County, the bank said Monday.
Earlier in his career, MacKenzie had senior management positions for many years with both Greenpoint Financial and CitiBank’s mortgage banking division
He is a graduate of Providence College.
