Manchester manufacturer Lydall Inc. said Friday it will soon raise prices by 4 percent to 8 percent on its line of filters and separators for the automotive and other specialty markets to reflect rising prices for raw materials.
The price increase starts with all orders shipped worldwide on or after July 1 from Lydall Filtration/Separation Inc.
Lydall said account managers have begun contacting customers to explain the price increase.
Lydall Filtration/Separation makes materials for automotive oil and air filters and gaskets, and membranes for filtering or separating water and other fluids.
Other Lydall divisions make thermal and acoustical insulation and biomedical fluid containers.
