Manchester manufacturer Lydall Inc. says it has gotten ISO certification covering design, production and servicing of its line of industrial chillers and heat exchangers.
Lydall Affinity, in Ossipee, N.H., received ISO 9001:2008 certification for the air- and water-cooled chillers used to remove heat from the production of microchips, food, drugs and plastics, among others.
The scope of the certification includes the design, manufacture, test and service of custom and configurable chillers and heat exchangers.
Lydall Affinity General Manager Bill Hume says ISO certification shows its commitment to quality and validates the improvements the division has made in recent years.
Lydall’s other divisions make heat and sound insulators, fluid filters, and containers for storing blood and other body tissues.
