Logicbroker lands $1.6M equity investment

Shelton’s Logicbroker Inc. has closed a Series A financing of $1.6 million from a group of investors that includes quasi-public Connecticut Innovations (CI), which made the announcement.

Logicbroker makes a cloud-based ecommerce platform that allows retailers, suppliers and others to automate inventory, purchase orders and to track returns and analytics.

Logicbroker said it has a strategic partnership with Microsoft and that its trading partners include Best Buy, Radio Shack and Sears.

The company is led by Peyman Zamani, who has worked for Office Depot, Pitney Bowes and U.S. Web.

Connecticut Innovations was the only investor disclosed in the announcement, but CI said the group included previous investors.
