LLC tied to Rocky Hill construction company buys Berlin industrial building for $1M

A limited liability company linked to Rocky Hill-based Ronnie DeMeo Construction recently paid $1 million for a roughly 21,000-square-foot factory building in Berlin.

TZ Real Estate LLC sold the one-story brick and masonry building at 555 Wethersfield Road to 555 Wethersfield Rd LLC in a deal logged by the town April 8. The building was completed in 1974, according to town records. 

The principals of the seller are Enzo Tata, of Wethersfield and Bruno Zavarella, according to state business records. The pair are also principals of Newington-based Zavarella Granite and Marble LLC. The partners paid $760,000 for the Berlin property last September, according to town records.

The principals of the buyer are Charles Fendt, of Old Lyme; Daniel Parker, of Bristol; and Cristy Osgood, of Old Lyme, according to state business records.

Fendt and Parker are, respectively, president and vice president of Rocky Hill-based Ronnie Demeo Construction Inc., according to state business records.

Attempts to reach Fendt and Parker were not immediately successful Monday morning.
