L.L. Bean slates South Windsor opening

Freeport, Maine-based retailer L.L. Bean said it plans to hold an opening ceremony for its new South Windsor store on Friday, Aug. 10. The 25,000-square-foot store will be open 24 hours a day on its inaugural weekend. The store, located at the Shops at Evergreen Walk, is the first retail building in the state to be LEED-certified and is the only L.L. Bean store in Connecticut.
