A weekly, live concert series on Pratt Street in downtown Hartford will return this summer.
Pratt Street Sounds, an initiative of Hartford Business Improvement District and Hartford.com, will feature live music every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The first show is on June 13 and the series will run through the end of September. All events are free and open to the public.
Pratt Street Sounds features local artists across a variety of genres including hip-hop, folk, blues, country, indie rock and R&B.
This year’s performers include Hartford-based The Lost Tribe, Ysanne & The Lotus Blues, Michael Sanford Day & The Hard Feelings and BAP Pack.
Also, there will be a special Hip-Hop For The Homeless performance, which will raise funds for local homeless shelters.
The full line-up for the Pratt Street Sounds series is available at: Hartford.com/PrattStreetSounds.
Pratt Street Sounds is made possible by a grant from the Richard P. Garmany Fund.
