Lincoln Financial Group, with operations in Hartford, said that its retail sales and financial planning affiliate, Lincoln Financial Network, has opened a new West Coast insurance and financial services agency, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports.
The agency, based in Los Angeles, is called Coastal Financial Partners Group, the newspaper reports on its Web site.
Coastal Financial is a general agency that was founded to provide specialized support for financial service professionals with marketing, client service support and access to wealth solutions for small business owners and high-net-worth clients.
In addition to its Century City headquarters, it also has a presence in Northern California and the Great Lakes region.
Lincoln National of Philadelphia, which markets itself as Lincoln Financial Group, had assets under management of $141 billion as of Dec. 31. It provides annuities; life, group life and disability insurance; 401(k) and 403(b) plans; savings plans; and comprehensive financial planning and advisory services.
