Lincoln Financial Group said Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Frederick J. Crawford will assume the newly created role of executive vice president of corporate development and investments, the Associated Press reports.
Crawford will remain CFO until a successor is named, the company said.
In his new role, Crawford will be responsible for long-term strategic planning, corporate development, investments and other issues.
He will report to President and CEO Dennis R. Glass, as he had as CFO.
