Connecticut’s annual sales tax holiday for certain clothing and other items under $300 will run Aug. 17 to Aug. 23, according to the Department of Revenue Services.
Clothing and footwear will be exempt from sales and use taxes during that week. Exempted are specialty boots for fishing, hiking, skiing and other activities, as well as wet suits, wallets, umbrellas, helmets and headbands.
A full list of qualifying and non-qualifying items can be found at the DRS website.
