Liberty Bank promotes Abramowitz to IT EVP

Middletown’s Liberty Bank has appointed Barry J. Abramowitz as executive vice president of information technology and operations.

Abramowitz joined Liberty in 2005.

He is chair of the Connecticut Bankers Association’s technology committee and of the CFT Bankers Forum. He is a member of Southington banking technology provider COCC’s strategic development council and of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, InfraGard, and the Information Systems Security Association.

Abramowitz is also on the faculty of the Connecticut School of Finance and Management and volunteers at the House of Bread in Hartford and for the American Red Cross.
