Lentini tapped as Boston Fed board member

Hartford banker David A. Lentini has been elected to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston for his second three-year term.

Lentini, who is the chairman, president and CEO of The Connecticut Bank and Trust Company in Hartford, will be part of the nine-member board that meets regularly to discuss issues affecting the New England economy and to oversee the Boston Fed’s operations.

In addition to his duties as a director, Lentini is also chairman of the Boston Fed’s audit committee.

Lentini has been the head of CBT since the bank’s inception in 2004.  He also serves as a director of the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and is a trustee and treasurer of the St. Francis Foundation.
