Comptroller Kevin Lembo said he is projecting a $300,000 surplus for fiscal year 2015, which ends 10 months from now.
It’s Lembo’s first projection for the fiscal year, which began July 1. The projection is likely to fluctuate monthly as state officials receive more information on revenues and expenditures.
Lembo is targeting a 2 percent increase in general fund spending this year and a 2.6 percent increase in revenue.
