A legislative committee will hold a public hearing today on student affordability at the University of Connecticut, the Associated Press reported.
The Program Review and Investigations Committee is examining how tuition and fees for undergraduate education at the school has changed over 20 years, the AP said.
The committee has already noted that tuition and fees for undergraduates who live in Connecticut have increase 9 percent beyond inflation between 2008 and 2011, the AP reported.
