Leadership Greater Hartford

Mission: Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH) helps people develop their leadership potential, connects diverse leaders around shared interests, and inspires people to build strong and vibrant communities throughout the region.

Background: Established in 1977, Leadership Greater Hartford is one of the country’s largest and most active leadership networks, bringing together and training a diverse array of community-minded individuals.

LGH’s wide variety of programs, from high school through retirement age, helps individuals realize their potential at work, at school, and in the community.

The organization combines class work with hands-on team projects that make a real difference in the community. From networking and tours to social events and meetings with regional leaders, LGH has connected more than 4000 participants from every walk of life to explore key issues that affect the region.

The Executive Orientation program connects senior managers to their peers, acclimates them to the Hartford region, and makes them more effective, fast.
