Massachusetts-based LCB Senior Living LLC is taking over management of assisted living facility The Hearth at Glastonbury as of Nov. 6.
The company, which owns or operates 35 senior living communities throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic, indicated it will rename the facility at 281 Western Blvd. as “The Residence at Glastonbury.”
“We are pleased to welcome Glastonbury to our portfolio,” said Michael Stoller, CEO and founder of LCB Senior Living.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LCB Senior Living, which was founded in 2011, already has eight senior living residences in Connecticut, including in Avon, Darien, South Windsor, Rocky Hill, Stamford, Suffield and Westport.
The Norwood, Mass.-based company provides various services to seniors who live at its facilities, including 24-hour support and security staff, housekeeping, transportation, wellness programs and dining.
It offers living situations for seniors who need various levels of help, ranging from independent living to assisted living to memory care. Currently, about 3,000 seniors live in its facilities.
