A specialty chemicals and ingredients distribution company is opening its new headquarters in Norwalk’s Merritt 7 business park.
LBB Specialties previously had two locations in Norwalk, which have been consolidated into the new corporate headquarters at Merritt 7, the company announced Friday.
The corporate campus is also getting its own Metro-North train station, scheduled to open in the coming months.
A ribbon-cutting for the new corporate office took place on April 5, and the company began moving in on April 14.
LBB Specialties occupies the first floor of 601 Merritt 7.
The new office has an abundance of amenities, including indoor-outdoor recreation along with meeting and event spaces.
“A well-designed, shared space supports the synchronization needed to continue our intentional growth and expanded offerings in the life sciences, personal care, food and nutrition, and advanced materials markets,” said Hank DeWolf, CEO of LBB Specialties.
LBB Specialties is a supplier of specialty chemicals and ingredients in North America. It generates about $500 million in annual revenue and employs more than 110 people.
