LAZ Parking in Hartford has hired a Danvers, Mass., telecom vendor to help one of the nation’s largest parking operators get arms around the cost and use of LAZ’s fleet of Blackberrys, iPhones, Androids and other wireless devices.
Wireless Analytics LLC says its expertise is third-party management of clients’ wireless telecommunications to boost efficiency and save money.
In LAZ’s case, Wireless Analytics says it will track who in the company has wireless devices, how and when they’re used, and when and if they should be upgraded or replaced.
Terms of the outsourcing contract were not disclosed.
LAZ owns or manages more than 425,000 public and private parking spaces in 21 states, with revenues exceeding $500 million annually.
