Law firms Carlton Fields P.A. and Jorden Burt LLP say they have finalized their merger, giving them more than 370 lawyers and consultants in Hartford and nine other U.S. northeast and southeast cities.
Based in Tampa, Fla., Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, P.A. is preparing to relocated its Simsbury office to One State Street in downtown Hartford.
Carlton Fields was founded in 1901, and Jorden Burt recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
Gary L. Sasso will run the combined firm as president and CEO.
