Pullman & Comley’s annual winter party highlighted the work of two local charities: the Community Renewal Team’s Energy Assistance Program and Freshplace. Every year, Community Renewal Team helps more than 33,000 low income and working poor households throughout Central Connecticut pay their winter heating bills, through funding from the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program. Freshplace — a collaboration among Foodshare, Chrysalis Center Inc., and the Junior League of Hartford Inc. — is a food pantry that aims to tackle the issues of chronic hunger in Hartford. Pictured, from left, are Patricia Monroe-Walker and Nancy Shapiro, Community Renewal Team Inc.; Greg Servodidio, partner, Pullman & Comley; Carolyn Hoffman and Jon Mitchell, Freshplace; and Rob Morris, chairman, Pullman & Comley. In addition to Hartford, the law firm has offices in Bridgeport, Stamford and White Plains.
