LATICRETE, a Bethany-based manufacturer of construction-related products, recently appointed Samantha Rothberg to the position of director, marketing communications.
Rothberg is now responsible for leading the family-owned company’s North America marketing communications team, which handles branding, graphic design, digital and social media and communications.
Previously, Rothberg served as integration project manager and acting marketing manager for the LATICRETE Europe Business Unit, where she helped establish the company’s marketing and product management team in Italy.
“I am very excited about this new role and thankful to have the opportunity to build upon the LATICRETE legacy that my parents, grandparents and extended LATICRETE family have worked so diligently towards,” Rothberg said, in an announcement.
The company was founded in 1956 by Henry M. Rothberg and his wife, Lillian Rosenstock Rothberg, according to its website.

Traynor joins Cambridge Bancorp team
Cambridge Bancorp, parent of Cambridge Trust Company, recently announced that John Traynor has joined to lead Cambridge Trust’s Wealth Management Team in Connecticut.
As president of Cambridge Trust Wealth Management – Connecticut, Traynor will work to expand wealth management services throughout the state.
Cambridge Bancorp is based in Cambridge, Mass. Traynor has more than 35 years of experience in wealth management, and he most recently served as chief investment officer at Peoples United Advisors.
