The former Park Central Tavern/1640 Wine Bar property at 1640 Whitney Ave. in Hamden sold on Feb. 2 for $750,000.
Stephen Press, SIOR with Press/Cuozzo Realtors in Hamden represented the seller, Sixteen Forty Whitney LLC and procured the buyer, Amici Corner Deli LLC.Â
According to the Secretary of the State’s office, the buyer is based in North Haven and its principals are listed as restaurateurs Michael C. Migliaro and Stephen M. Barraco.
The property had been marketed as a fully equipped bar and restaurant. The site features a 6,726-square-foot building, with a 5,430-square-foot restaurant space on the main level and a residential apartment on the upper floor.

Lease signed for Cheshire commercial site
Gage Manufacturing and Motorsports LLC has signed a long-term lease for property at 1484 Highland Ave. in Cheshire.
The lease of Unit 9, a 4,400-square-foot space, started on Feb. 1. The duration and financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.
