Oil-spill cleanup specialist Lamor USA is moving its headquarters to Milford from Seymour, The CT Post reports.
The U.S. arm of the Finnish company was involved in the British Petroleum Gulf oil spill cleanup in 2010.
The new headquarters will occupy a 36,560-square-foot space at 155 Hill St., is about 1.5 miles from Long Island Sound. There, he company plans to display and test its oil booms and other products that can be used to corral and clean up oil spills, ctpost.com reports.
Lamor came to Connecticut when it bought Seymour’s Slickbar Products Corp. in 2008 and continued to operate the business out of 18 Beach St.
