Lamont opens 9 campaign headquarters across the state

With less than a month until the Democratic primary, Gov. Ned Lamont announced Wednesday he is opening several campaign headquarters in communities across the state.

Lamont’s campaign announced nine cities for the headquarters, most of which are storefront locations:

  • 1050 Brooklawn Ave. in Bridgeport
  • 161 Main St. in Danbury
  • 30 Arbor St. in Hartford
  • 19 Basset St. in New Britain
  • 1715 Whalley Ave. in New Haven
  • 774 Long Hill Road in Groton
  • 1250 Summer St., Suite 307, in Stamford
  • 45 Water St. in Torrington, and
  • 170 Grand St. in Waterbury.

The offices will serve as hubs for field staff, volunteers, phone bank personnel and canvassers as the campaign heads into its final weeks before primary day on Aug. 11.

In the Democratic primary, Lamont faces a challenge from state Rep. Josh Elliott (D-Hamden).
