Lake Compounce announced this week it is hiring more than 1,000 employees for the 2022 season.
With opening day less than 100 days away, the Bristol amusement park said it’s looking for lifeguards, ride operators, food and beverage workers, security and more.
Starting pay rates go as high as $18 an hour, Lake Compounce officials said. Those hired for lifeguard roles will be paid for the 10-day certificate program and given free admission to the park for the season.
Lake Compounce Director of Operations Megan Major said the park is gearing up for the biggest season in its 176-year history.

Lake Compounce will host an in-person job fair Wednesday, March 9, but applications can also be submitted online.
