Real estate brokerage CB Richard Ellis Group Inc., which has operations in Hartford, today announced that Michael J. Lafitte has been appointed president of the company’s Americas business.
Lafitte has been president of the institutional and global corporate services unit the past 2 ½ years.
He succeeds Calvin W. Frese, Jr., who earlier this year became the CBRE’s global chief operating officer.
The Americas is Los Angeles-based CBRE’s largest business segment with 2008 revenue of more than $3.2 billion and covers the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
