Craig LaFiandra, vice president of UnitedHealthcare’s strategic accounts operations, has been appointed to the board of directors of The Governor’s Prevention Partnership. LaFiandra joins 15 other Connecticut business leaders on the board and will serve alongside co-Chair Gov. Dannel Malloy. The partnership is a statewide nonprofit public-private organization aiming to curb youth violence and substance abuse.
LaFiandra, who joined UnitedHealthcare in 2002, leads sales operations for strategic accounts with responsibilities for relationship strategies, business planning and marketing, and communications. He also oversees UnitedHealth Group’s Hartford Leadership Council, which identifies and coordinates volunteer efforts for more than 2,300 Hartford-area employees.
