Bradley International Airport weathered Wednesday’s snowstorm with a smattering of airline delays and cancellations, but by 11 a.m. was winding down snow cleanup.
According to Bradley spokesperson Alisa Sisic, the Windsor Locks airport has remained open and operating through the storm. Unlike the Jan. 4 blizzard, this storm, which was forecast to deliver as much as 8 inches across much of the state, only dropped between 2 to 5 inches in north and central Connecticut, according to WFSB Eyewitness News 3.
“We are still seeing some cancellations and delays as the airlines continue to adjust their schedules in response to the storm,” Sisic wrote.
Passengers are advised to contact their airline regarding individual flight itineraries and any potential rebooking options before heading to the airport.
