LodgeWorks LP has appointed Yolande Lacan as general manager of its Hotel Sierra Shelton, which is scheduled to open in Fairfield County next month.
Lacan, a University of New Hampshire graduate with New England roots, marks her return after nine years away from Connecticut. She brings to Hotel Sierra over 10 years of experience as a general manager. Most recently, Lacan spent five years restoring and redeveloping the George Washington Hotel, a Wyndham Historic Hotel in the Shenandoah Valley region of Pennsylvania.
“Her comprehensive food and beverage background in full-service properties, including 4-diamond hotels and historic landmark hotels, will be an ideal fit for both the brand and the region,” said John Cantele, senior vice president/operations.
