Joel Kosovsky, who split earlier this month from the West Hartford CPA firm KPS & Co., where he was a longtime partner, said he has launched his own business.
Based on Arapahoe Road in West Hartford with an additional office in Florida, Kosovsky and Co., CPA & Consultants LLC — which was formed 15 years ago but has been dormant — is offering both tax and accounting services as well as financial management and advisory services for businesses and individuals.
The financial services are offered through Horizon Financial Advisors, a business Kosovsky ran during his time at KPS & Co.
Upon the departure of Kosovsky, KPS became Pratesi, Salemi & Co., with offices in West Hartford and Wallingford.
Kosovsky is a CPA and is also licensed to sell securities, life and health insurance.
KPS acquired the West Palm Beach office in 2013, which is now a part of Kosovsky & Co.
