Erik Siegel is joining Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder as an associate and will handle medical malpractice and personal injury cases for the law firm, which has offices in Bridgeport and New Haven.
It is a homecoming for Siegel, who launched his legal career as a summer associate at Koskoff prior to working as a litigator at firms in Stamford and Shelton.
Koskoff focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, civil rights and commercial litigation.
Siegel, a Stamford resident, said of his new position, “I am thrilled to be coming back to the team where I got my first taste of how the law can level the playing field for individuals harmed by institutions or unthinking medical professionals.”
James Horwitz, the Koskoff firm’s managing attorney, said Siegel has the “compassion, dedication and creativity needed to tackle tough, emotional cases.”
“Erik has worked on many significant medical malpractice cases involving cardiac issues, cancer, gastrointestinal and bariatric difficulties, and hospital cases resulting from many different types of problems — experience that will be invaluable as part of our litigation team,” Horwitz said.
