Konover acquires Southington age-restricted apartments for $10.8M

A subsidiary of The Simon Konover Co. has acquired Eden and Main Apartments, a 55-plus rental community in Southington, the company announced.

Konover Residential Corp. purchased the property at 37 Eden Ave. for $10.75 million in July, property records show. The seller was DRA Eden Avenue LLC of New Jersey.

Eden and Main Apartments is a 41-unit community that was recently developed by New Jersey-based Kokes Properties.

“The building offers a perfect alternative for adults looking to downsize their homes without compromising on quality, luxury, convenience or lifestyle,” said Jim Wakim, president of The Simon Konover Co. “Fully appointed amenity spaces offer opportunities to gather, and most residences offer private patios.”

Eden and Main Apartments consist of one- and two-bedroom units that feature energy-efficient design with modern finishes.
