Kohl’s Department Stores is eager to hire some 375 workers for three new stores opening in September in Berlin, Killingly and New Milford, authorities say.
The Menomonee Falls, Wis., retailer announced Tuesday scheduling for five daily job fairs, starting Saturday and running through Wednesday, to outfit each new store with about 125 workers.
Staffing includes register operators, department associates, customer service clerks, early morning freight unloaders and evening ad set associates, officials said.
The fairs take place in Berlin Crowne Plaza, 100 Berlin Road, in Cromwell; Courtyard by Marriott Danbury, 3 Eagle Road in Danbury; and Quinnebaug Valley Community College, 742 Upper Maple St. in Killingly.
Times are the same for all five fairs: Sat., Aug. 4, 10:45 am-6:30pm; Sun., Aug. 5, 10:45 am-7:30 pm; Mon., Aug. 6, 11:45 am-7:30 pm; Tue., Aug. 7, 8:45 am-4:30 pm; Wed., Aug. 8, 8:45 am-4:30 pm.
The Berlin store is at the Brickyard Plaza shopping center, at Deming Road and Berlin Turnpike.
The Killingly store is at Killingly Plaza, North Main Street and Hartford Pike.
The New Milford store is at the Litchfield Crossing shopping center, at Dodd and Danbury Roads.
There are currently 18 Kohl’s stores in Connecticut.
