Knights of Columbus equity fund wins award for performance

An equity fund run by New Haven-based Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors (KoCAA) won an international award for best fund performance over a five-year period, the company has announced.

The Knights of Columbus International Equity Fund won the 2022 Refinitiv Lipper Award in the International Multi-Cap Core Funds category. 

A U.K.-based provider of financial markets data, Refinitiv said its awards “reflect a truly independent and uncompromised assessment of performance in over 17 countries worldwide.”

The Knights of Columbus International Equity Fund has won a Refinitiv Lipper Award in one of the International Multi-Cap Core categories three times in the last four years, KoCAA said.

Tony Minopoli, president and chief investment officer at KoCAA, said, “Consistently winning the Refinitiv Lipper Award is testament to the growing trust faith-based investors place in KoCAA, who are increasingly focused on aligning their values with their investments while maintaining strong performance and results.”

KoCAA is one of the world’s largest Catholic asset management firms, manages nine mutual funds and total assets of over $29 billion as of Dec. 31, 2021. The firm markets its funds to individuals and institutions “seeking strategies that align with their Catholic values.”
