Killingworth reusable dumpster bag maker enters storm-ravaged Houston market

Killingworth-based BullBag Corp., maker of reusable dumpster bags, has begun stocking its product in Houston Home Depot stores to speed cleanup and rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Harvey.

BullBag’s agreement with the do-it-yourself home improvement giant means the bags will be available immediately, with a cost and time savings over metal dumpster rentals, the company said. The company had previously sent its disaster teams to Houston and set up an office in the storm-ravaged city.

“We are excited to have the Texas expansion and look forward to becoming a staple in the community along with providing jobs for years to come,” BullBag Founder and CEO Paul DiSpazio said.

The BullBag dumpster bag holds up to 2.5 tons and can be filled to pay lines of four, six and eight cubic yards. The lightweight, foldable bags can also be picked up over fences, pulled out of garages and from second-story scaffolding, making them convenient for disaster cleanup and debris removal, the company said.
