KeyBank’s Jordan honored by NAACP

LaKisha Jordan of Hamden, corporate responsibility officer for KeyBank in its Connecticut and western Massachusetts service areas, has been named as one of the “100 Most Influential Blacks in Connecticut” for 2018 by the State Conference of NAACP Branches.

The designation is presented to African-Americans in Connecticut from a range of industries who are making a difference in local communities.

Jordan and other honorees were recognized at a September 22 awards reception at the Foxwoods Tower Premier Ballroom.

As corporate responsibility officer, Jordan oversees community-engagement strategy and leads KeyBank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives in Connecticut and western Massachusetts. Among these projects is a mentoring program at New Haven’s Hillhouse High School, which provides students with leadership training, banking knowledge and overall preparation to succeed in a professional work environment.
