KeyBank recently made several hires and promotions as part of its ongoing growth strategy in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
James R. Barger, president of the Connecticut and Massachusetts market, said while other banks might be cutting back, KeyBank is continuing to hire and invest in new talent.

Chelsea Brochu has joined as senior experience manager. In this role, she will lead the Hartford team of client experience associates and help grow client relationships.
Geoffrey James was promoted to wealth development partner. James joined KeyBank in 2017 as branch manager for North Branford.
Brandon McGoldrick is a new senior business banking relationship manager for the Greater Hartford area. In his new role, he will expand existing client relationships and generate new business banking opportunities.
Bonnie Addison was promoted to the position of market sales leader. She is responsible for implementing a market sales strategy and leading a team of financial advisors.

Lizette Nigro has joined Middletown-based Liberty Bank as vice president of digital engagement. Nigro comes to Liberty Bank from Fiserv/Open Solutions Division in Glastonbury and has two decades of experience helping banks and credit unions improve customers’ banking experience. This includes using technology and solutions to help institutions attract new customers, increase retention, grow wallet share and be more efficient.
