Kelser Corp. is underway with an expansion of its East Hartford headquarters to accommodate the information-technology services vendor’s customers and employees, authorities say.
On Monday, work began at Kelser’s office-service center at 111 Roberts St. to reconfigure office and work spaces. Price tag wasn’t disclosed.
“The expansion of our facility is directly due to the expansion in our current business, as well as our plans for further growth in the future,” Kelser President Barry Kelly said in a statement.
Founded in 1981 as New Technology Systems, the company has in recent years expanded with the opening of its Kelser Professional Services division in tandem with the Kelser Supply Chain Management group.
The new facilities will include corporate offices, larger warehouse space, extended configuration areas, a repair center, meeting rooms and a state-of-the-art product demonstration center to host seminars that feature trends in technology, new products and services, manufacturer presentations, and live demos.
