Keeping Connecticut Green

The GreenCircle award was presented to Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The university is directing a green campus initiative by installing solar panels, creating a 19-acre arboretum and installing a geothermal heating and cooling system.
