Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc. today named Kim A. Keck a vice president in charge of investor relations.
Keck, 45, replaces Jeffrey A. Chaffkin, who is leaving to pursue personal interests.
She reports to Joseph M. Zubretsky, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Keck will maintain Aetna’s relationships with the investor and analyst communities. She has been with Aetna since 1988, most recently leading the treasurer’s, controllers, actuarial, and tax organizations.

She was chief of staff to Chairman and CEO Ronald A. Williams from 2005 to 2008. Keck has a degree in mathematics from Boston College and an M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Connecticut.
