Farmington-based KBE Building Corp. received the Merit Cup Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut, Inc.
The award honors contractors’ use of subcontractors that are hired on a merit basis regardless of their union or non-union status.
KBE received a total of six awards from the Connecticut contractors, including for safety and for the management of the $3.5 million learning lab at the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network in Hartford and the $28 million Carrington Elementary School construction in Waterbury.
